By: Mark Gardner, Chairman

We are off and running in the New Year and our 2018/2019, club renewal deadline is just around the corner. Membership renewals must be paid by May 31, 2018.

You will find the Club Renewal insert in this edition of the Barbless. Please consider paying your renewal fee early, as it will alleviate the mad scramble at the end of our current season to get all our memberships up to date.

Our club can only work with the help of volunteers. The Membership Chair is one of those positions that requires a relatively small amount of time with attention to detail. I have volunteered for this position over the last two and a half years and have come to a point where I need to pass the baton.

Unfortunately, this will be my last season to handle the membership responsibilities. The club needs a volunteer to take over the position of Membership Chair beginning on June 1, 2018. I would encourage one of our members to step up and take on this position. I would be happy to answer any questions through e-mail, phone call, or in person at one of our remaining meetings of the year. I will be resigning my position to be effective after our club picnic in May, so it would be best to have a volunteer step up very soon so I can share my knowledge about the position. Thank you!
